Nico Bourbon and Mati Gorganchian founded kamiPay with a clear mission: to solve a real problem — eliminating friction in cross-border payments.

Their Minimum Viable Product (MVP), launched in June 2023, enabled Argentine merchants and professionals to accept payments via Pix — Brazil’s most widely used payment system — receiving funds instantly and at the best exchange rate. This milestone marked a breakthrough in the traditional international credit card model, offering a faster, more cost-effective, and transparent alternative.

Since then, the company has evolved rapidly by “API-fying” its value proposition — developing a modular and flexible infrastructure that integrates seamlessly across multiple industries. Thanks to this strategy, kamiPay began to be adopted by point-of-sale systems, payment gateways, booking engines, and management platforms.

In February 2024, kamiPay took another step forward by launching the reverse use case: integrating with leading Argentine fintechs so their users could pay in Brazil using their local currency or cryptocurrencies — automatically converted into reais via Pix, with no friction or hidden fees.

kamiPay is a pioneer in real-time cross-border payments, connecting instant payment systems from different countries through blockchain technology.
